Bio

Danielle Tello is a University Innovation Fellow from Lubbock, TX. Although Danielle first started her path in Electrical Engineering, she found that it was not the right path for her. She is a now junior pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Danielle is a first-generation college student with sisters that are also going to college. Danielle has a passion for creating and building that has led her to the path of engineering. Through the experience of an injury that resulted in being temporarily wheelchair-bound, Danielle hopes to join the field of biomedical engineering. She is currently studying at South Plains College and will transfer to Texas Tech University to complete her B.A. Danielle hopes to make a great impact on her campus community! “Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.” -Salvador Dali
