[[File:IMG728106994.jpg|thumb|left|200px]] Keenan Urmann is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). His specialties include Biomechanical Engineering, Humanitarian Engineering, and active involvement in his school’s Peace Corps Prep program. Being a Colorado native with an interest in math and science it was natural to enroll at the Colorado School of Mines.
At the Colorado School of Mines, Keenan began his involvement with Residence Life and served as a Resident Assistant and Hall Director for four years. It was here that he discovered his passion for creating communities and getting others excited for their futures as young engineers. This desire for creating change for the community lead him to the University Innovation Fellows, and enabled him to have a stronger influence on the future of his campus.
Apart from his campus involvement he also enjoys listening to music, being active, anything related to the outdoors, travelling the world, and trying anything new and exciting that he can be a part of. All of these passions led him to pursue a career with the Peace Corps and is looking to serve the world in any way possible.
