As Being a CS fourth year student in his sixth semesterCS, Francisco is proficient in programming, discrete math and other CS skillsspecifically when it comes to web apps. In campus As an UTEC student, he Francisco is a member part of Spin OutSpinOut, the an I&E community at student organization founded by UTEC's first UIF cohort, where he serves as a tech mentor for the different projects that are organized every year. Francisco's work impacts not only UTEC, but also other branches of SpinOut that exist in other universities in Lima an other cities from the region. Also in UTEC, Francisco works as the Product Engineer of UTECVentures, which focuses in creating awareness about innovation is UTEC's startup accelerator and entrepreneurship trough regular events and workshops about methodologies like Design Thinking and SITincubator. Francisco sees this position as an extension of his work at SpinOut, because it allows him to build projects that can impact the same kind of people, while also allowing him to experience the day to day of the tech industry. Outside of campusUTEC, Francisco is a trainee at two regional startups: the CTO of CreaCode and Silabuz.com, both of which offer an edtech startup that gives coding courses for classes to kids and teens, where offering paid workshops that help fund their volunteering branch, aimed at young girls from low income areas. Francisco works as a teacher 's job is to develop and maintain the different web projects that they have, and as a mentoralso ensure the quality of the curriculum. He considers his Jesuit education Francisco doesn't plan to be an important part of his personaleave CreaCode any time soon, and because of that as he believes this job is very interested closely related to his mission in the socioeconomical issues that affect his countrylife. As a University Innovation Fellow, which is the reason he chose most of Francisco's contribution to work as a teacher his local ecosystem comes through his participation in SpinOut UTEC and UTEC Ventures. This allows him to reduce the technological gap between public collaborate with other universities and private schools local startups to incentivize students to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. In his spare time, Francisco loves playing soccer (he was part of his secondary school's soccer team).
