Our goal is to find more funding programs which will give money to these different projects. In order to do this, we will reach out to different companies in the Grand Rapids area and find resources on GVSU's campus. We feel this is important because, in order to put on various events like Design Start, we would need funding.</span></span></span>

In order to create a prototype, it can be very difficult for freshmen students we need to get connected pick a problem to others focus on and go through the communityDesign Thinking process. By holding an event First, we will go through the night before winter semester classesempathize stage by going to companies, or hospitals to gather information. We will then define our problem and layout possible obstacles we could encounter. Next, freshmen would have we will get a chance group of people together to make more connections with each other in a more relaxed settingideate and brainstorm possible solutions. After having a semester under their beltsOnce we have completed all of these steps, they would we will then be more comfortable and have more in common with the people in their buildingsprototyping phase. There is During this time, we will create a low-resolution mock-up of our potential product in order to have food, icebreakers, and games to give freshmen incentive to cometest it. We would also ask them hope to fill out create a questionnaire; questions may include what they are enjoying about their classes, what they want to improve, and what they are already involved in on campus. This questionnaire would hopefully give product that will benefit the communities around us a better understanding of how to improve the freshman experience.</span></span> <span id="docs-internal-guid-7e9de390-543e-ef50-53e4-5d65d8c21061">&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;
