== Inspiring Design Thinking
==
Students do not even have innovation and entrepreneurship on their radar particularly in the early years of their education. This unfortunate truth presents an opportunity to show students what opportunities are present to them in a fun way which gets them excited as well as making entrepreneurship accessible to everyone.
=== Strategy #1: Provide regular meetings where students can be presented challenges and invent unique solutions.Inspiring Design Thinking
===
Before students will truly embrace entrepreneurship and Although the culture of innovation they must feel empowered and the intimidation factor must be diminished in entrepreneurship at MSU has come a fun and easily accessible long way. The best way this can be done is by using what brought engineers into the discipline in the first place –problem solving and designlast few years, there’s still a lot of room to grow. Students will be presented a problemMany students, at each meeting throughout the semesterespecially underclassmen, which they will be expected to solve in a unique do not even have innovation and innovative way. The problem presented entrepreneurship on any given day will range from broad problems such as global warming their radar, This unfortunate truth presents an opportunity to very niche problems such as ways to improve the process of doing laundry. Students will be provided food as well as a variety of tools for prototyping and playing provide students with their ideas in a physical way. The purpose of the club accessible and exercises is not only exciting opportunities to have fun but also inspire the kind of thinking required for entrepreneurs in the field of engineeringlearn about innovation and entrepreneurship early on.

It is important that the campus culture encourages students to pursue their entrepreneurial goals as well as inspire capable and innovative students to follow the route of entrepreneurship throughout their studies and following graduation.
== Encouraging Pursuit of Entrepreneurship Providing Tools for Realizing Entrepreneurial Goals
==
Students are currently both intimidated by Once students at Michigan State decide they have a desire to pursue their innovation and entrepreneurship and encouraged goals, then they can begin to follow utilize the corporate route in engineering resources provided at Michigan State UniversityMSU. A large part of the resources provided here are sustainable but may leave students unable to determine how to use this skill for their major. It is important that students leave the university with the campus culture encourages students tools necessary to pursue maintain their entrepreneurial goals as well as inspire capable innovation and innovative students to follow the route of entrepreneurship following graduation independently and throughout successfully to use in their studiesfuture careers.

The general curriculum engineers go through should inspire students to seek out and pursue their entrepreneurial potential and make entrepreneurship and innovation accessible to all students. <span id=== Strategy #2: Hold regular presentations and speeches by engineers who pursued entrepreneurship"docs-internal-guid-5a4074b1-7fff-42c3-9bda-fd4d11a14e0a">
==span styleKnowing that others have followed entrepreneurship and have come through the same point the students are at will empower students to pursue the "big bad beast" of entrepreneurship. &nbspfont-size: 11pt;&nbspfont-family: Arial;&nbspcolor: rgb(0, 0, 0);&nbspbackground-color: transparent;&nbspfont-variant-numeric: normal;&nbspfont-variant-east-asian: normal;&nbspvertical-align: baseline;&nbspwhite-space: pre-wrap; == Providing Tools ">Before we provide more opportunities for realizing Entrepreneurial Goals
== Once students at Michigan State decide they have to get involved with innovation and entrepreneurship, we must first address the confidence culture of innovation and desire entrepreneurship at MSU. In order to follow entepreneurship they quickly realize they lack the tools necessary do this, we have decided to do sohold a monthly innovation and entrepreneurship workshop. This workshop will be lead by students for students. A large part of In this problem workshop, students will be introduced to design thinking processes in parallel with business model processes. Our goal is satisfied by the Innovation Center in the not to make every student at MSU a user experience designer or business college owner, but it’s important to teach students these mindsets in hopes that students leave the university with the tools necessary to maintain their entrepreneurship independently and successfullyit will make them better at whatever it is they are pursuing. === Strategy #1: Provide entrepreneurship concentration in all engineering majors specifically designed for entrepreneurship in their field

== Related Links == These specialized classes will focus on students who know they eventually want to follow entrepreneurship and do not know what their next steps are. There will be business classes on business model development and how to get capital as well as classes on what entrepreneurship looks like in their field specifically which may range from patent writing and processes to software development and consumer testing.

=== Strategy #2: Provide seminars on business design and entrepreneurship strategies
===[[Brandon DuQuette|Brandon DuQuette]]
For those that do not have the space in their curriculum to add entrepreneurship to their degree but still would like to add these skills to their skill set or for those relatively familiar with the entire process and only need classes in specialized areas independent co-curricular seminars should be held on isolated subjects. For instance, a brief seminar on patent writing may suit students better who are at a particular point in their entrepreneurial track but need a little extra information. == Related Links ==[[Malik Jackson|Malik Jackson]]
