The Tagliatela College of Engineering is trying to introduce more innovative entrepreneurial thinking into its courses. The college receives grants from the Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network (KEEN). This organization’s mission is to help instill engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset so they can create personal, economic, and societal value through a lifetime of meaningful work. Many of the engineering faculty and courses strive to help students realize the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship. Some courses help students learn to apply their knowledge to hands-on projects.</span></span>
