==Bio==
Hayden Roof is a University Innovation Fellow from Gilbert, South Carolina. He is a Computer Science major at Clemson University. Hayden heard about UIF through the Dr. John DesJardins Dixon Fellows course, Hands-On Design and Entrepreneurship. He is currently a member of the Fall 2023 cohort for Clemson University.
Outside of UIF, Hayden participates in research in Automotive Cybersecurity through Clemson's Creative Inquiry program and works part-time as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory Computer Science course. In his free time, he enjoys exploring and hiking in the gorgeous Blue Ridge mountains, playing his favorite video games, Cities Skylines and BeamNG.drive, and discussing all things automotive related.
Through UIF, Hayden hopes to improve university support for student mental health and wellbeing along with continuing to foster innovation and entrepreneurship on his campus.
