Students get benefited dually through the research outcomes and the financial incentive of ₹1000 provided by the institution to those who are working with the faculty on research projects. This initiative helps students to participate in the</span></span><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:medium">&nbsp;research program and get expertise in the field of work through&nbsp;practice. It also motivates more faculties to take up&nbsp;a research&nbsp;project&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size:medium">on their field of interest and the students will assist the faculty, making the work easier and can do their research work in a tight&nbsp;schedule.</span></span>

<big>It is important for our institute to be a source of new ideas and support innovators in technology and science. Its general goal is to create an ambience in which new ideas and research flourish from which the leaders and innovators of tomorrow emerge. In fulfilment of these points of importance, R&D established at MITS has taken an initiative to promote research, innovations, consultancy activities and also facilitates the protection of Intellectual Property (IP). The Faculty Research Projects Committee (FRPC) has formulated to monitor the progress of Projects and activities related to Research.</big>
