==Bio==
Ben Frey is a Schulze Innovation Scholar at the University of St. Thomas with an intended triple major in physics, computer science, and business administration. In high school, Ben built an app for the Apple App Store to help students organize their homework more efficiently by taking and storing a picture of their assignments from the teacher's whiteboard. The app was downloaded over 500 times in a dozen countries before it was discontinued. After undergrad, he hopes to continue his education while pursuing a PhD in physics with an emphasis on computational simulations.

==Achievements==
Starting his freshman year in college, Ben was awarded the Schulze Innovation Scholarship, a 4-year full-tuition scholarship for students majoring in entrepreneurship. Summer 2020 gave him the opportunity to pursue research full-time virtually with a summer internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign's Physic department. His work involved writing software and research papers about the simulation of fiber optic cables.
