= Faculty Innovation and Entrepreneurship =
The projects and attitudes regarding Innovation and Entrepreneurship has a lot of cross ties between in the large distance that separates different colleges in the Hayworth University reflect mutual goals. However, although the Haworth College of Business and the Engineering Campus known as Parkview Campus. This is of Engineering are only separated by a distance of about 5 miles with a bus ride for students without cars , there is around twenty minutesvery little information being shared regarding the direction of I&E within their respective colleges. The primary reason there are cross ties is there preventing this communication is a lot of taking place on the similar things happening at both campuses but neither are in communication student level. Business students with ideas confer with other business students while Engineers tend to work with each other at the student levelengineers.
In terms of Innovation , the college has a great group of professors in the Engineering department that try to push the students to the envelope of coming up with new ideas, . The '''Endowed Chairs for Innovation''' , Dr. Steven Butt(Chair of Department), Dr. Tycho Fredericks, Dr. Bob White, and Dr. Azim Houshyar, have a series of classes called Entrepreneur Engineering (I, II, and III ) where the their students are to come up with an idea innovative solution to a pain point in the form of a product , and learn how to model or produce a product in a facilityworking prototype of it using the various labs on Parkview's Campus.
Entrepreneurship seems to follow go hand in hand with the "B-School" Haworth College of Business where they have a great group of mentors and professors that help the their students there expand Entrepreneurs grow and become more mindful of entrepreneurship in their school. The push for Entrepreneurship has come from the Dean of the "B-school" college, Kay Palan. She has put the a team together , along with the Head head of the Management department of, creating the '''Endowed Chairs for Entrepreneurship''', which consist of Dr. Robert Landeros and his team of '''Entrepreneur entrepreneurs in Residence''', residence (John Mueller, Barcley Johnson, and Laurel Ofstein.
