MITS is successful in promoting the interaction of the industry and various departments of the institute, with the help of Industry-Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC). IIIC was established in MITS with an objective to explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry as per the requirements of the institution.

It bridges the gap between industry and institute by initiating and coordinating industry based research. Industry Institute Partnership forms an important activity for any academic institute as its stakeholders interact with the real world. The students are benefited from the cell in the form of internships and industrial interactions. By going to internships students get a chance to explore new things. III cell in collaboration with ED cell conducted seminars on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SELF-DEVELOPMENT” on 19th september 2017. By this way it creates global opportunities for students to pursue higher education.<strike></strike>
