Rustin Bergren has undergraduate degrees in both Electrical and Computer Engineering and is currently pursuing a masters at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (EE). Previously he worked for 5 years at AT&T as a Repair Technician and for 2 years as a Network Engineer for 5Nines, LLC, a small ISP in Madison, WI. He has a strong working background in Telecommunications, Networking, and System Administration; however, currently he's interested in exploring new horizons more closely related to Electrical and Computer Engineering. At present, his graduate research is focused on employing the use of numerical methods (like finite element analysis) in real-time for use in control systems.

In his spare time he enjoys listening to electronic music and backpacking in the wilderness, though not at the same time. His other hobbies include preaching about the virtue of engineering, photography, and trying not to get electrocuted.
