Early Life and Education
Jithendra was born and raised in a small agricultural family in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India. His father was as an agriculture farmer, and from a young age, Jithendra displayed a natural inclination for problem-solving and technology. He pursued his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at Audisankara College of Engineering and Technology (ASCET), Gudur.
During his time at ASCET, Jithendra’s curiosity for innovation led him to become a part of the University Innovation Fellows (UIF) program in Fall 2018, where he explored ways to bridge the gap between engineering education and practical innovation. He also served as a member of ARC (Association of Royal Civil) and was recognized with the "Best Outgoing Student" award—an acknowledgment of his academic and extracurricular excellence.
Career Journey
After graduating, Jithendra made a decisive shift into the IT industry, beginning his career as a Software Trainee at Vinfo Global, a startup based in Bangalore. He quickly developed an interest in DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation, which led him to explore advanced tools and methodologies in this space.
He later joined GAVS Technologies in Chennai as a DevOps Engineer, where he worked on Angular and .NET-based application projects. At GAVS, he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows, and migrating applications to the cloud, resulting in greater scalability and cost efficiency. His dedication and technical expertise were crucial in streamlining development and deployment processes.
Since January 2024, Jithendra Reddy has been working as a Senior SaaS Engineer at Temenos, where he plays a key role in designing and managing scalable cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. He has implemented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt, enabling consistent environment provisioning across multiple stages. Jithendra has deployed and managed containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), utilizing Helm for efficient release management and Linkerd as a lightweight service mesh to ensure secure and observable communication between services. He has automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, integrated secure artifact management using JFrog Artifactory, and strengthened security posture through Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, and centralized IAM using Keycloak. His work has significantly enhanced the company’s cloud infrastructure, deployment reliability, and security compliance in the SaaS delivery model.
Personal Life
Outside of work, Jithendra is passionate about reading books on technology, business, and personal development. He is also an avid traveller and enjoys capturing the world through his lens as a travel photographer. Deeply committed to giving back, Jithendra actively volunteers at a local NGO focused on improving access to education for underprivileged children.
