Bio
Emily Marino is the Deputy Director for the New Energy New York program at the Research Foundation of SUNY at Binghamton University. In this role, she supports clean energy startups, manages funding programs, handles federal grant reporting, and builds industry partnerships to drive innovation. With a strong background in program management, impact assessment, and investment readiness, she has helped secure significant funding for both public and private entities. Emily also has extensive experience in consulting, organizational leadership, and strategic planning, helping businesses and nonprofits grow.
Achievements
Emily is an NSF I-Corps instructor and Student Mentor with 17 years of professional experience. She also owns her own consulting business where she works with nonprofits and small businesses on fundraising and planning strategy.

Emily holds a STEM-designated MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business, an MA from Syracuse University, and a BA from Binghamton University.
