She is involved in the University Honors College and is planning on pursuing the Innovation, Product Design, and Entrepreneurship Certificate through the Swanson School of Engineering. She also served as team leader for the Randall Family Big Idea Competition in 2019. Liz graduated from Upper St Clair High School, located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, in 2018. While in high school, she played volleyball, served as captain of the girls' ultimate frisbee team, and volunteered every Friday at a nursing home near her house.

Outside of Pitt, Liz is involved in various activities. She loves to rock climb and attend yoga classes at Ascend Pittsburgh. She also loves to play basketball and frisbee with her friends. So far she has spent her summers serving as a nanny and a camp leader for Extended Day Services in her hometown. Liz's current hobby is knitting, and she is donating her creations to Warm Up America!, a charity that joins knitted squares into blankets for the homeless.

Liz is incredibly excited to begin her time as a University Innovation Fellow and can't wait to work with her team to improve education at Pitt.
