Humera Fasihuddin

Humera is a program designer and change agent. She co-directs the University Innovation Fellows program, an initiative of the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school) at Stanford University. She began this work at the non-profit VentureWell, where she invested a decade in the design and scale of programs advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in U.S. higher education. Prior to that, Humera worked for UMass Amherst and the Western Mass Economic Development Council, where she was responsible for creating communities of leaders within business and academia to advance technology-based economic development in the region known as Western Mass. Humera began her career in industry working her way up from the mail room to product management at a materials manufacturing company. She holds two dozen other work experiences from her early-career that would make this bio too long, but have enriched her view of life. Humera holds an M.B.A. from UMass Amherst and a B.S. in Mathematics from Smith College.
