School:JNTUA College of Engineering Pulivendula

JNTUA College of Engineering pulivendula was established in 2006, as the fourth constituent college of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. It is a part of JNTU-Anantapur till 2013. From the academic year 2013-14 the college is autonomous.

Promoting student innovation and entrepreneurship':'

In our campus a mandatory subject Management Science is added to all courses .It teaches various entrepreneurship related skills. A 24/7 Internet Lab is provided for innovation and research.

Encouraging faculty innovation and entrepreneurship:

Faculty development programs are organized and conducted by all the departments in the college frequently. Faculty get supportive guidance and motivation towards innovation by the senior professors and other resource persons.

'Engaging with regional and local economic development efforts':

NSS (National social services) camps are organized twice or thrice in a year in the neighborhood villages, as the campus is located in a rural area.

'Facilitating University-Industry Collaboration':

Industry visits are conducted once a year where students visit industry learn various skills. Our college chemistry department is collaborated with uranium plant located near to the college in offering some projects

'Actively supporting the university technology transfer function':

Everyday technology is upgrading. University actively supports technology transfer in providing advanced labs and using technology in teaching classes by using projectors, LCD etc.
