Shannon is studying journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her specialization is in public relations. She is also majoring in global studies, with focus on international politics and Western Europe. She has dreams of working for some kind of international organization, hopefully doing public relations, marketing or communications.
At UNC, Shannon lead a chapter of Design for America (tentative chapter, in the process of applying to the national network).
