Lavanya Uppala is an University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student studying Bioinformatics and Biology at the
University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), with a minor in Computer Science. Lavanya grew up in Nebraska, where she has also lived most of her life. Growing up around family members working in the natural sciences, she also discovered her love for the subject.
