Biography
Christopher Gaeta is currently a sophomore at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.
As of 2019, his LinkedIn network of over twenty thousand professionals ranks among the highest of any individual in the country for his age. Gaeta's passion for merging business innovation with medical research has led to leadership roles in numerous national and international organizations.
A past finalist for the renowned American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Leadership Award, Gaeta also has cultivated a passion for entrepreneurship and social innovation initiatives. He serves as the Executive Director of a non-profit neighborhood clean up organization that has grown to impact cities across the east coast since its inception in 2016. Moreover, he lead a fundraising campaign for the First Tee of the Lowcountry that ranked the second largest in financial pledges nationwide as part of Leadership Links (a nationwide collaboration with the United States Golf Association.)
While at Swarthmore, Gaeta serves as a Lang Center Social Innovation Lab Fellow, volunteer EMT, and President of the Student Philanthropy Council as an alumni steward. He is a member of the Men’s Golf team and also placed in first at the 2017 Founder's League Championship (one of the most competitive tournament fields of New England junior golfers).
Gaeta is currently pursuing undergraduate coursework at Swarthmore College and graduate courses at the Perelman School of Medicine. He regularly contributes to EMS World Magazine, was the first student elected to the Garnet Club Advancement Council at Swarthmore College, and aids with operations of the Journal for Collegiate Emergency Medical Services. Moreover, he is an active clinical researcher at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and is involved with several retrospectives and multi-site research projects.
