This past summer, Emma worked as a summer research assistant and analyzed the popular fiction The Hunger Games and its movie adaptation to compare cross-media thematic differences from key plots. As a candidate of the University Innovation Fellows 2018-2019 cohort, she is particularly interested in making innovation and entrepreneurship offerings at Smith College and in the 5-College Consortium more accessible for students who do not yet see themselves as innovators or entrepreneurs.
