<span id="docs-internal-guid-7cfd4da6-7fff-4e38-4d60-8ff6e133c880"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Over the past summer, I held a software engineering internship at NT Concepts where I worked to develop algorithms in python to track vehicles from aerial imagery for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. During this internship, I learned about machine learning and how government contracts and proposals work. For my capstone, I am part of a team representing JMU at the Department of Energy's Collegiate Wind Competition where will build a small-scale wind turbine and compete with other schools in this competition.</span></span><div><br/><span id="docs-internal-guid-9a849778-7fff-b44b-e656-f779503bde4b"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">I am passionate about electrical and computer engineering and I hope to utilize these skills in my future career path. My ideal job would be to work for an alternative energy company that makes electric vehicles or wind turbines.</span></span><div><br/></div></div>
