- We are going to work at merging together three current student organizations together into a single larger organization.
- The organizations involved within this merge are TechX, Entrepreneurship Club, and MarkerSpace.
- This new organization will hold numerous events per week including different specialty events to cater to all interests.

Create digital platform for idea connection board
[ Fall 2016 ]
- Through our partners at the UNH ECenter, as a cohort, we will build and manage a new online idea connection network page.
- Over time we will recruit new students to manage the page.
- This new format will include a physical kiosk within the ECenter as well as an online mobile platform.
- This will enable easier access to much larger community of users.
[ Spring 2017 ]
- This “connection network page” idea remains as a written out form on a bulletin board at the E-Center but has a dedicated webpage called the UNH Idea Connection Board managed by the E-Center at UNH.
Expand FIRE program across all colleges and then across all four years

- Advocate for incorporating design thinking and lean startup principles
- Present faculty organizers student interest in this becoming a reality to hopefully speed the process

- This was proposed in the stakeholder meeting and a very lengthy project because it is involves formulating a curriculum and people from various departments.
Establish research/industrial park for spinout phase support

- Wet lab creation through the UNH ECenter.

- This remains as a long term idea, and is in the hands of the directors of the E-Center and UNHInnovation.
Spreading the word about I&E at University of New Hampshire (UNH)
[Spring 2017]
Objective:
Educate the student body about I&E and to foster an innovative culture at the same time.
Tactic ( Listed as steps):
- Recruit volunteers at Paul College who are passionate about I&E
- Work along with the current pool of volunteers and try get more volunteers from different departments
- Spread the word via, social media, posters, flyers, word of mouth, dinning hall advertisements, etc about programs like the i2Passport at the E-Center
- Create appreciation awards for volunteers in conjunction with Paul College, UNH Innovation and the E-Center
- Host team building activities
- Use this same group of volunteers to help out at related events
Hosting the First Student-Run Hackathon at University of New Hampshire (UNH)
[ Spring 2017 ]
Objective:
UNH’s First hackathon is an event to gather a large group of people from within the campus, neighbouring institutions and also the public. This event is an introduction to newcomers and also a creative/challenging outlet for techies.
Tactic ( Listed as steps):
- Always keep the Mentors in the loop about the level of progress.
- Rent a domain and formulate a Hackathon name
- Come up with a logo
- Set a date for event
- Reserve a venue
- Set up a group of people responsible for marketing
- Contact Major League Hacking
- Set up group managing participants and the website
- Aim for more than ~100 people
- Pick out workshops to conduct during event
- Contact Housing to provide boarding for participants if necessary
- Create a sponsorship package
- Email potential sponsors
- Email various departments about sponsoring event
- Work on catering for the event
- Work on providing transport to event
- Raise at least $5000 in funds
- Launch !!!
[Fall 2017]
As of September 2017, a domain and name for the Hackathon has been established. The website has been launched, and a tentative date of late October 2017 has been determined. The event and website are affiliated with Major League Hacking, and an option for corporate sponsorship is available.
The Biospace at in University of New Hampshire

Objective:
To create a biological science centered Makerspace facility open to students of all majors.
Things that we likely need to do in order to get this to work:
1.Gather up an awesome team
2 Deal with campus bureaucracy
3. Allocate a suitable location,
4. Contact donors and key people.
