Objective of NSS is Education and Service to the community and by the community. It’s students’ programme where we cater to the need of the community, as and when required, it will also help the students to communicate with the society. It helps students to improve various skills how to interact and deal with society and helps them to learn about what’s going on in society and gives them a exposure to explore. The rural projects generally include the working of NSS volunteers in adopted villages for eradication of illiteracy, watershed management and wasteland development, agricultural operations, health, nutrition etc. Beyond academics it is also important to have social responsibility for a student to be a good citizen of tomorrow.</p>
