OVERVIEW:

Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College (SRKR Engineering College), is a co-educational, autonomous and a private Engineering college. It was formed in the 1980s to provide a better quality technical education to students. The college is located on a 30 acres plot in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in the year 1980 by major donations from Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju.The college was accorded permanent affiliation by Andhra University from 1987 and has been declared as an autonomous institution by AICTE. NAAC Accredited “A” grade with 3.6 rating out of 4 .The College is eligible to receive central assistance under section 12 (b) of UGC. The College is recognized by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and the Institution of Engineers (India) and accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi).The college has 6 departments which includes Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Each department has its own student organizations, technology centre and innovation centre where the ideas of the students can be shared and implemented
