After serving as a councilor at a summer youth leadership camp, he realized his passions lie in working with students and plans on applying to graduate school for student affairs and development after graduating in 2017. He spent this last summer away from his hometown, Bay City, MI, to experience a season without snow in Houghton, MI doing graphic design work and preparing to serve as the Marketing Chair for the student programming board, as well as the Vice President of Communications for the Honors Institute. He also spent time preparing to help develop incoming students as an Orientation Team Leader as well as a teaching assistant for a leadership class for the Fall 2014 semester.</span></span>
