Originally from fabulous Las Vegas, NVNevada, Lina Lakoczky-Torres is an incoming junior at Menlo College studying business management with pursuing a concentration bachelor's in entrepreneurship and innovationat Menlo College. Lina works to raise awareness about climate change, animal cruelty, and the health benefits of a plant-based diet by founding [https://www.linkedin.com/company/veg-club The Veg Club] at Menlo College. Sheis also a University Innovation Fellow through Stanford's passionate about destigmatizing mental health and its intersectionality between addictiond. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Lina founded the Menlo College Veg Club which works to bring awareness to the cruelty of factory farming is passionate about social impact and invites students to expand their horizons how we can leverage these exciting new technologies with new foodshuman centered design. With this, she also served as the After graduating from Menlo College Student Government Wellness Representative (2019-2020) and now holds the position of Resident Assistant. Constantly growing and evolvingin December 2022, Lina uses these experiences she hopes to pursue a JD/MBA to further understand accelerate her impact on her peers and the lived experiences of her community to effectively advocate for change where neededworld.
