Fiorenza A. M. Herrera Diaz is an Economics and Peace & Conflict Studies double major at Swarthmore College. She graduated with her associate degree from Miami Dade College in 2019 and transferred to complete her studies at Swarthmore College. At Miami Dade College, she served as an Andrew Goodman Ambassador to increase youth civic engagement. With the help of her peers, they were able to successfully petition the Miami-Dade County mayor to establish two early voting sites across the college’s eight campuses, in time for the 2018 midterm elections. While at Swarthmore College, she has served as a Petey Greene Tutor, assisting incarcerated students with their General Education Development (GED) preparation. Fiorenza is a strong human rights advocate and passionate about serving her community.
