Changes

Thalía is a Bioengineering Junior at Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC)and is originally from a town in Piura, Perú. Since she was 13, she has won 2 scholarships to study outside her town and has managed to be an outstanding student at her school and university. All the opportunities she has accessed have led her to want to share her experiences and knowledge acquired with the people of her town, help empower the women there and improve the education of children in rural areas of her country. For this reason, she is a volunteer for social programs that follow the same objective as her, such as Q’omer Kallpa, Asiry, Girl Up and recently she has founded Colaneñas. <br />
