The implementation has been looking for ways to engage students in a more proactive manner. With the recent completion of workshops related renovations to innovation and entrepreneurship the Corbett Student Union, there is one of the greatest key ideas potential for available space to be occupied for getting entrepreneurship and innovation. This space would allow university student mentors and Innovation Fellows the ability to meet with students involved in these mattersa central location directly on campus. As Services to be provided would include a continuation of today, many workshops are held on current operations underway at the Arrowhead Entrepreneurship Institute and Aggie Innovation Space: business model development, rapid prototyping, although more promotion for these events should be givenconcept design, as well as a higher level of hands-on experiencemanufacturing assistance, probably by bringing in people who have specialized in these topicsand team develpment training.

NMSU it is hosting a 3 Day Startup (3DS) starting Sundayessential for students to work on mulitdisciplinary projects throughout their student tenure. Through the Aggie Innovation Space, April 13, 2014. This will definitely pull in engineering students interested have begun collaborating and working in developing ideas, a more open and put them supportive environment where experiences have allowed for mentors to work by making them participate in online-based workshopsemerge. By having at least a bi-monthly event like thisOver the past year, these mentors, from different majors, have worked together to guide a high number of students would be exposed to student projects through the design phase. Having seen the intent early success of this strategic planinitiative, we are hoping to implement a university wide senior design course that will enable students from every college to work together to solve industry-based problems.
== Pop-up Classes
==
Building on early mentorship initiatives, it was determined that many students sought to learn in a non-traditional manner that would allow them to gain familiarity with new concepts quickly. These courses are desinged to help all university students learn the value behind innovation, and to provide them the essential tools for their project needs. These courses have been very well recieved by university faculty memebers who regularly attend and often teach these new pop-up courses.
== Required courses on entrepreneurship and innovation that allows the student to develop hands-on experience Industry Reverse Sabbatical ==
Currently, there are no specific courses targeting students who may be interested in innovation and entrepreneurship. There are courses related to some kind of business entrepreneurship, but they are merely theoretical and lack hands-on experience. By requiring all students, or at least students of some majors (for seeing how it actually works), to take at least 2 or 3 entrepreneurship courses with a higher level of difficulty, they could learn how to set their ideas into the ground. I would also suggest that students who are taking these classes should be required to form part of an Entrepreneuship & Innovation Student Organization and come up with a team project by the end of one of their courses. == Expansion of the current Aggie Innovation Space and creation of more Innovation Spaces == The University has taken newest concept being developed within the first steps in launching an Innovation Space at the NMSU College of Engineering, but more input on this space is needed, as well as more spaces like this an Industry sabbatical that will allow for people in industry to back on campus. [[File:Aggie.png|border|left|Aggie.png]] Seeking future funding for Innovation Spaces like these, and making them more technologically up-to-date is teach a vital actionfull course. == Think and Act BIG! == -Organizing local TEDx events -Bringing recognized speakers to The idea behind the school -Getting funding initative is for Innovation Spaces from partnered companies
== Student and Faculty Coordination == A partnership between students to gain familiarity with the I&E Student Organization and faculty spaces, such as the Arrowhead Center, for working out some practial applications of the possible strategic plans (such as bi-monthly workshops) would help events and workshops be of greater quality, and would definitely attract more studentsknowedge in industry. Coordination among students and faculty would allow I&E Course topics will range from circuit design to be a bigger deal on campusadditive manufacturing, since both groups could place greater value on these matters. == Networking with other Universities == Networking is the single most powerful tool and marketing strategy enabling interested students to accelerate and sustain success for any individual or organization. By working with fellow universities get an early understanding of an industry that they may seek to implement and work on ideas together would allow them become feasible, and not let them remain mere planswithin. Getting advice from and providing advice to others can make projects be of a greater value than just sticking to your own ideas. As they say, two heads are better than one.
