She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing. She is a part of the third cohort at Loyola and is championing an initiative that goes along with social innovation. Emily wants to find a way to help students in the Baltimore Public School System gain access to clean drinking water during the school day. She plans on doing this through human-centered design and spreading social innovation at Loyola in order to find other students who are passionate about this issue and give them a voice and a way to use it. She hopes to do this through pop-up classes on design thinking for the water issue and advocating across campus.
