Hemanth is a University Innovation fellow of Fall 2018, graduating from Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology in April 2020. He is an Engineering student currently pursuing his final year of under graduation in the stream of Electronics and Communications Engineering. Al through his way as a student, he always encouraged student leadership and student activities. He served as the president of the campus' National Service Scheme Wing. Currently, he is the president for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Develop Cell (IEDC).

Being a UIF, he started counducting Design thinking workshops as a weekly activity in his campus. To develop a culture of innovation on campus, he started conducting weekly DTs, Speaker Serieses and Design for Global Welfare Activities. He set up the Institute's Innovation Council (IIC) in colloboration with Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) on campus, through which students get an oppurtunity to innovate and they get support to prototype and test their ideas. The Venture Development Center and the IIEA Incubator were also started in his campus with Hemanth as the Lead for these batches.

Hemanth and his co-fellows started a design space in their campus. The space has all the requirements for the students to innovate, design and prototype their ideas. He was requested by the Center for Social Psychology to help them in designing a curriculum for the Freshmen of the Schools in his state. Hemanth contributed in designing the curriculum for the Semester 0 for the Engineering Freshmen in his state.
