Macy’s UIF journey began in Kansas City, MO at William Jewell College where she studied Physics, and Mathematics. Now, and Applied Critical Thought and InquiryMacy is a Ph.D. student at the University of Arkansas studying Industrial Engineering. In school Although she took took on a variety of leadership roles such as chair positions in has moved away from her sororityundergrad institution, being she still engages in the UIF community as a first-year resident assistant, collaborator and president mentor. One of the Physics Societybest parts of being a Fellow is the notion that “once a fellow always a Fellow. However” Some of the areas Macy is most passionate about are: inter-collaboration between departments, her favorite organization was UIF.
