Changes

Rachel loves to be involved in a variety of activities. She loves hikingon the Wasatch Front, reading booksswing dancing, and listening to musicpainting. Rachel is also known for her genuine love for of people. Unafraid to talk to strangers, Rachel is one who is always making new friends. Ever since she was a young girl, Rachel has always looked for opportunities to be involved in promoting positive change.

In middle schoolher early teens, Rachel took the opportunity to co-lead a three-year group project that provided humanitarian effort to citizens of Haiti. Rachel created fundraiser events and marketing videos for her school to fundraise needed supplies for those in great need. As a teenager, she participated in a HEFY programan H.E.F.Y. (Humanitarian Experience for Youth) service trip, traveling to Tonga to aid in humanitarian efforts. Rachel has also dedicated one18 months to full-and-a-half years to religious time missionary service in Northern Japan. In Sendai, Japan, amidst her religious service, Rachel volunteered as a weekly English teacher for families. Looking toward the future, Rachel hopes to continue traveling around the globe engaging in projects that will benefit the communities she visits.
