<span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:largersmall;">This scholars programs is different from other programs in the since of all students from the campus can participate. Students are able to collaborate with other engineers that are active in the scholarship program.&nbsp;</span></span><p style="text-align: center; "><span style="font-family:tahoma,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:largersmall;">Richard Miller, founder of the 14 grand challenges for the National Academy of Engineers says, "This provides students with a vision with what they can do with engineering and how they can change the world."&nbsp;</span></p><span style="font-size:small;">The grand challenges are working towards implementing a program for K-12 that will equip students to become engineers.&nbsp;<br/></span> <span style="font-size:small;">The office of Science and Technology Policy is interested in seeing this program in many different campuses across the country.
