She is an avid adventurer, an ex-trackie, and can usually be found with a camera in hand. <span style="font-size:medium;">Abigail's work with Engineers Without Borders is mainly focused on creating sustainable and cost-effective sanitation system for drinking water in Ubujan, Philippines. Her research focuses on studying single point mutations in the TRPV4 channel in chondrocytes, and how they can lead to the development of skeletal dysplasias.</span>
