Overview:

Aditya,the premier promoter of quality education in the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh for the past two decades, leads various institutions ranging from K.G to P.G besides professional colleges like Engineering, Pharmacy and Nursing. Sri Nallamilli Seshareddy as a founder chairman, promoted the educational society in the name and style of Aditya Academy at Kakinada in the year 1984, with a vision and mission to create a platform for holistic growth and success to students at all levels.

Aditya Engineering College was established in the academic year 2001-02 under the aegis of Aditya Academy, Kakinada with the approval of AICTE and Affiliated to JNTU with an intake of 180 in three UG Courses in Engineering & Technology.

The College is situated in an eco-friendly area of 25 acres with thick greenery at Surampalem, Gandepalli Mandal, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The College is 15 KM away from Samalkot Railway Station on Howrah-Chennai Railway line in South Central Railway. The College is 35 Km away from Kakinada and Rajahmundry on ADB Road.

The silver-jubilee educational group with 50,000+ students in 50+ institutions with 5000+ staff across three districts in Andhra Pradesh has become the standard bearer for quality education. In every stream, Aditya has become a springboard for success through its powered vision, constant innovation and professional excellence.

Tactic1: Intrinsic Motivation

Students tend to enjoy learning and to do better when they are more intrinsically rather than extrinsically motivated to achieve.

This principle is directed at how instructors can increase intrinsic motivation through classroom practices and activities that support the fundamental need of students to feel autonomous. It is important to note that not everything of importance is intrinsically motivating to all students and that there is a place for extrinsic motivation in education. During the unit on motivation, when intrinsic and extrinsic motivations are typically discussed, students can examine their personal motivations and how they influence their success. Lastly, students can examine the research related to the overjustification effect, also discussed in this principle.

 

Tactic 2: Giving Practical Real World Problems to solve;

The main Aim of the Education is to solve the real world problems using the knowledge and skill that we have gained. This can be done by giving tasks to the students to solve the basic real world problems in their college time will make them to solve the complex problems in their future with the experience they have gained here.

Tactic 3: Conducting seminars and hand-on-lab  on Latest Technology:

Every Student gains the knowledge by any resource. but in order to excel it he  a strong foundation must be laid. This can be done by exposing the students to the latest technologies and trends By conducting Seminars, Guest lecturers and Workshops. This can make them to use their knowledge in a better way to excel their talent.

Strategy 2: Creating an makerspace to collaborate different students to generate new ideas

In Every Engineering College the interaction of students of different departments is a must. By Creating a Campus page that is accessed by students and faculty of various Departments to exchange their ideas.

By having interactive sessions with the Successful persons of various Departments.

By Forming a Student Co-ordination team. Which is responsible for Students meet up of all departments once in every 2 weeks and Selecting one best idea to implement and provide funding to the idea.

By conducting Inter-campus Competitions for every 2 months, by taking talented people from all departments for the Universal Research. This is also called as CPL (Campus Premier League)   

Creating Awareness among the students by Conducting Seminars and Guest Lectures on latest technologies and real world problems to solve from various Departments to the Students of all the departments in the campus. By creating an application which is having all the information about all the departments and latest technologies, which can be accessed by the students.

Strategy 3:

Through this startup weekend programs every student and faculty get an idea about what is Innovation and Entrepreneurship, students start to think innovatively so we can get many innovative ideas that are useful for development of our country that are given by the students. We can more startups and many students can become Entrepreneurs from our college. By conducting seminars on Entrepreneurship.

By having interactive sessions with entrepreneurs to get awareness about what is innovation and entrepreneurship. Conducting innovation and entrepreneurship meetups.

Including Innovation and Entrepreneurship as a part of our curriculum

Strategy 4:To Make Students To find Their Own passion.

HELP THEM FIND PURPOSE

We all want to feel like we’re part of something bigger than ourselves; that our work matters and makes a difference.

If you want to help your student find their passion, ask them what activities they find meaning in. At this point, many high scholars see enjoyment and meaning similarly, so be sure to differentiate the two.
As you see your student finding purpose in a particular area and developing their passion, bring up potential major and career options.

LOOK TO CAREER APTITUDE TESTS

There are a variety of Career opportunities to  student can take that will match their interests with a list of potential careers. As a parent, you know your child. Maybe better than they know themselves.

Often these tests will confirm what you already know. Your student who excels in English composition will lean towards a liberal arts education. Those good at math and science will skew towards accounting and engineering.

But there are always exceptions. Not every student wants to attend a traditional four-year college. Their passion is working with their hands or another interest that is best served by attending a trade or specialty school.

So use these tests as a general guideline and not a hard and fast rule.

FIND THEM A MENTOR

Passion is often contagious. And when you’re around someone who is passionate about something, their enthusiasm rubs off.

This is where a friend or relative who acts as a mentor can come alongside your student and speak into their life. Mentors with the same interests as your student and perhaps knowledge and experience have something else that is important to share.

Strategy 5:Universities can be major resources in a company’s innovation strategy.

By having More Industrial visits the student can able to view how the world works in their respective field. By making students to do internship with the companies, they come to know how the company works.
