Mitra is a high-impact auto-printing system that has already processed over '''30,000 pages''' within its first 8 months of operations. Initially tested inside MITS, it solves a chronic pain point in student printing services by drastically cutting down wait times. Mitra has grown to serve 20-30 daily users and has become fully automated through a WhatsApp-based interface.
Desai has taken bold steps to fund and scale this vision—selling personal belongings and taking calculated financial risks, including borrowing against family property. Despite these challenges, Mitra continues to grow steadily and is now ready to expand to other campuses.
