Lennard Korte is an undergraduate student at the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) engineering and computer science researcher specializing in Germanymachine learning. He started studying Computer Science in Oktober 2019is currently pursuing his M. The program consists of interdisciplinary basic studies followed by the choice of one of several branches of specialised studiesSc. After the second semester he chose Software Engineering as special majorin Artificial Intelligence at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, starting from late 2023.
Lennard is a University Innovation Fellow at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school). This program empowers students to become leaders of change in higher education, and Lennard collaborates with fellow fellows from around the world to create new opportunities and transformative learning experiences for their peers.
Additionally, Lennard has served as the Chairman of the Board at Enactus Hamburg, an organization that develops social innovations and implements them in various projects, with the aim of contributing to the realization of the 17 SDGs. He has also been a member of the Innovation Ressort and an Information Technology Specialist at Hamburg University of Technology.
As a research associate at the Institute of Medical Technology and Intelligent Systems, Lennard has worked in collaboration with medical experts to adapt deep learning pipelines with Computed Tomography (CT) data sets. His research focuses on exploring innovative applications of deep learning in medical technology, including CT reconstruction, navigation, localization, and classification tasks.
Lennard's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hamburg University of Technology. This program provided him with a comprehensive understanding of various computing and engineering disciplines and the ability to bridge the gap between different areas of engineering. He has also completed a certificate program in Interdisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship (INTIE) offered by Startup Port, which enhances his knowledge and skills in these areas.
With his expertise in engineering, computer science, and machine learning, Lennard Korte is dedicated to making a positive impact in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. His studies at Nanyang Technological University will further equip him with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence.
