Priority #1: Entrepreneurship Alumni Network

Rice Students have an incredibly difficult time finding Alumni whom have gone through the nitty-gritty of starting companies. This includes filing for provisional patents, contacting manufacturers, incorporation and liabaility, and other business and legal-related considerations. We would like to form a highly selective group of Rice alumni with concrete, applicable skills to help mentor design teams on campus.

Priority #2: Entrepreneurship Resources

A website outlining the important steps of starting an entrepreneurial venture, as well as connecting students with crucial resources available on campus is absolutely lacking. There is no central place for Rice Students to go to learn who, what, and where the resources are.

Priority #3: Entrepreneurship Faculty Network

The faculty network around entrepreneurship at Rice is quite young. A website consolidating all the faculty who can help design teams on campus onto one page would save teams tons of time.
