Hanan Ahmed is a Richard Rubin Scholar at Swarthmore College studying Psychology and Peace and Conflict Studies. She serves as a Student Academic Mentor, interns for the Dean of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Development, and is a lab associate in the Educational Psychology lab with Professor Ann Renninger.

This past summer, Hanan interned at Black Women's Health Alliance (BWHA) in North Philadelphia and co-facilitated Safe Dates Teen Dating Violence workshops, researched and assessed community needs, and helped organize the National Coalition of Black Women's Domestic Violence Summit in conjunction with BWHA.
