JeDawn Gaither is a University Innovation Fellow and a dual Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health Student at the University of Georgia (UGA). Her focuses include Healthcare Disparities, Underserved, Minority Populations, increasing Diversity, Multiculturalism, and Inclusivity. JeDawn attended Clayton State University (CSU) in Morrow, GA for undergrad where she majored in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Social Work. At CSU she discovered her passion for helping people and decided to become a change agent. As her journey at UGA progressed she was exposed to the University Innovation Fellows.

At Clayton State University, JeDawn participated in the Interfaith Leadership Ambassador Program (ILAP) she gained an interest in diverse religious and non-religious interactions. She would like to bridge the gaps of individuals from different backgrounds and build strong community.

JeDawn is originally from Stockbridge, GA where she has lived her whole life. JeDawn has always been interested in entrepreneurship and has a few small businesses that she will be launching soon. She was involved in modeling and acting from a very young age and is a mentor to a few high school girls in her community. She uses her modeling and acting experience to teach her mentees the importance of self-love and self-confidence. She enjoys helping others attain their dreams and aspirations.
