Emily Manzo is a current University Innovations Fellow at Loyola University or Maryland. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in English with a concentration in Writing. She is a part of the third cohort at Loyola and is championing an initiative that goes along with social innovation. Emily wants to find a way to help students in the Baltimore Public School System gain access to clean drinking water during the school day.   She plans on doing this through human-centered design and spreading social innovation at Loyola in order to find other students who are passionate about this issue and give them a voice and a way to use it. She hopes to do this through pop-up classes on design thinking for the water issue and advocating across campus. Emily is doing this with the help of her other fellows and with the help of Loyola's Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
