Grant Versfeld is a University Innovation Fellow studying Computer Science and Pre-Law at Loyola University Maryland. Grant is fascinated by the ethical implications of digital technology and plans to become a technologist specializing in Internet policy. He hopes to one day help solve the dilemmas, such as privacy, Artifical Intelligence safety, and ethical advertising, introduced by our increasingly connected society.

Grant Versfeld is a senior at Tufts University where he studies both Computer Science (CS) & Science, Technology and Society (STS). He is fascinated by the way technology impacts our lives and plans to become a policy technologist working at the intersection of business and governments. Grant’s main interests include cybersecurity and technology policy. His interest in these issues was sparked during a yearlong, independent research project at the end of high school, in which he explored how the practices of social media and other popular websites often infringe on students’ expectations of privacy and security.<br />
  
Although he primarily studies Computer Science, Grant is avid reader and loves his humanities courses. He enjoys combining his love for technology with his love for english and history, and he often looks to join projects that allow him to explore the people side of computing. At Loyola, he is a member of the Honors program as well as the Cybersecurity club, and he is currently creating a trivia club. He can often be found reading, hanging out with friends, or playing raquetball.

Grant Versfeld is a senior at Tufts University where he studies both Computer Science (CS) & Science, Technology and Society (STS). He is fascinated by the way technology impacts our lives and plans to become a policy technologist working at the intersection of business and governments. Grant’s main interests include cybersecurity and technology policy. His interest in these issues was sparked during a yearlong, independent research project at the end of high school, in which he explored how the practices of social media and other popular websites often infringe on students’ expectations of privacy and security.
