Kuda Profile image.jpg

Kuda is a methodical and conscientious aspiring CPA from Harare, Zimbabwe. One of Kuda’s projects as a University Innovation Fellow was the Furman University Community Engagement Initiative. For this project, he worked with eighteen faculty members and five student fellows to map out and institutionalize all university’s interactions with the community. He is also interested in microfinance and has been awarded the Hollingsworth and Furman Advantage Research Fellowships over two consecutive summers to conduct research on ‘what leads to microfinance success.’ He hopes to give back to the community through helping ease access to capital (microfinance) to underserved entrepreneurs at the bottom of the economic pyramid in Southern Africa.
