<span style="font-size:large;">Kathryn Wagner is a University Innovation Fellow at Grand Valley State Univeristy in Grand Rapids, MI. She is an undergraduate student pursing a major in Biomedical Sciences, with a pre-PA emphasis. She also has a German minor, as language and culture has always been something she enjoys. She is also a member of the Frederick Meijer Honors College.</span> <span style="font-size:large;">Kathryn has always had a love for the medical field and found her love for innovation freshman year at Grand Valley when she took a 2-semester long honors course called "Design Thinking for Social Product and Innovation." She discovered what UIF was her sophomore year when several of her friends joined, and became a part of UIF her junior year.</span> <span style="font-size:large;">With her love for the medical field, she works as a Home Health Aide, assisting the elderly in their homes, has worked as a CNA in a nursing home, and currently volunteers at a free medical clinic for the uninsured in downtown Grand Rapids. She is the Social Media Manager for the Social Innovation Club at Grand Valley and is also a part of the pre-PA club.</span> <span style="font-size:large;">Kathryn loves to travel and has been to several countries including Australia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Mexico, and Belize.
