Gerald De La Cruz is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate student majoring in Marketing with a minor in Film and Television at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Gerald is a native New Yorker born and raised in the Bronx. Once realizing that he could pursue his love for film and the world of business he applied to Fordham University right in his hometown. After his first semester, his class dean recommended him for a program, University Innovation Fellows.
At the Gabelli School of Business, Gerald is a proud member of multiple groups and organizations on campus including ASILI (the Black Student Association at Fordham University) and the Fordham Marketing Association. In addition, he has worked for the University as a marketing assistant at the campus radio station (WFUV) and as a student mentor for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. Gerald is passionate about public service through innovation and plans to fulfill the Fordham University mission to create men and women for others.
Gerald has always valued higher education, seeing the experience as the great equalizer. He is committed to creating a more inclusive and innovative atmosphere on his campus while promoting the entrepreneurship spirit.
