<span style="font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:medium;"><span style="text-align: justify;">At &nbsp;the end of Spring 2015 semester Briana was elected the Chair of the IEEE student branch and has worked hard this year planning events Just like the Region 3 IEEE Leadership Workshopmany other fellows, networking with members I wondered what I would get out of joining UIF. I had a friend who had previously gone through the IEEE Melbourne Section UIF training and leading the technical team for the 2016 SECON hardware competition. For the Fall 2015 semester she planned a total of ten general meetings would always tell me how awesome UIF was and has planned another ten general meeting for the Spring 2016 semester. Briana has been to consider applying to be a part of the Society of Women Engineers executive board as the webmaster for the past two yearscandidate. On April 19During that time, 2015, she was initiated into the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society at Florida Tech and has volunteered as member of the programming committee I had a full schedule trying to help prepare events like chapter meetings survive my school work and leading the Engineers Week opening ceremonyIEEE student branch. In addition, she volunteers My passion is to be the leader of the planning committee create opportunities for the 2016 Engineers Week hosted at Florida Tech from February 22, 2016 students to February 27, 2016practice their technical engineering skills and networking events where employers can personally meet students.</span></span>

<span style= Related Links "font-size:medium;"><span style=Florida Institute "font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I never considered myself a social butterfly, but by getting involved in leadership positions in different organizations like SWE and Tau Beta Pi I learned that I loved to network. By having the honor to lead the planning committee for the 2016 Engineers Week I was able to personally see how amazing it is to work on a big interdisciplinary team. The creation of Technology]]the Innovation Council holds a special place in my heart because I was able to finally bring this club to life thanks to UIF and my amazing leadership circle. The purpose of the Innovation Council is to allow representatives from multiple organizations on campus to come together and personally get to know each other and have a safe place to share ideas and work on bigger projects together. One common goal, that all passionate leaders have it to help others. So instead of working alone to accomplish the same goal with the Innovation Council we can work together for a better TODAY.&nbsp;</span></span>
