<div style="clear:both;"><span>Daniel&nbsp;</span><span>Yim</span><span>&nbsp;is a University Innovation Fellow candidate&nbsp;</span><span>from Susquehanna&nbsp;</span><span>University (</span><span>SU)&nbsp;</span><span>in</span><span>&nbsp;Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. He is a&nbsp;</span><span>sophomore majoring in [[File:Daniel Yim1540733115744.jpg|thumb|Daniel Yim.jpg587x587px]]business administration with no current emphasis. Although Daniel hasn't found Yim is an emphasis within the international business field, major at Susquehanna University where he has received a great liberal arts education allowing him to gain insight into a variety of disciplines. He is always pursuing opportunities also a University Innovation Fellows candidate for the Fall 2017 leadership circle on his campus and the first UIF member from his 2020 class. He has helped create the first creator and innovator showcase and helped push for the mentoring and new experiences to find innovation center on his nichecampus.  A global leader with a passion for cross-cultural interactions and perspectives, Daniel is originally from Warringtonhas an adaptive mindset that has allowed him to gain global opportunities. He has been recognized by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S State Department by being award the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship that has allowed him to study abroad in Tokyo, Pennsylvania Japan for the fall 2018 semester. He has also been recognized by his school and hopes was 1 of 7 students who received the Eric Stein Scholarship, allowing him to work overseas one dayintern in Seoul, South Korea during the summer of 2019.</span>&nbsp;</div><div style="clear:both;"><span>Back on campus, Daniel is has been involved in a range</span>&nbsp;<span>of diverse clubs and&nbsp;</span><span>communities at SU such as the Asian Cultural&nbsp;</span><span>Association,&nbsp;</span><span>D.I.</span><span>C.E . (</span><span>Design</span><span>, Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship) Club</span><span>, League of Legends Club,</span>&nbsp;<span>Marketing</span><span>&nbsp;Club</span><span>,</span>&nbsp;<span>P.I.E.R&nbsp;</span><span>(</span><span>Professional</span>&nbsp;<span>Internship</span><span>&nbsp;and Employment Readiness Program</span><span>). In his spare time, he enjoys learning about new ideas Daniel is also a large advocate and skillsmentor for students wanting to study abroad, reading providing students with resources to help them succeed and playing&nbsp;</span><span>competitive</span><span>&nbsp;gamesscholarship resources such as the Gilman Scholarship.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</div><div style="clear:both;"><span>Growing up in Warrington, PA, Daniel was very interested participated in learning Boy Scouts and trying out new things. Daniel has been became an Eagle Scout, involved in scouting since he was in third grade music, marching band, and eventually earned spending the rank rest of Eagle Scout during his time in scoutingworking or reading. Some of his hobbies include cooking, designing, learning a variety of different skills in the outdoorsreading, leadership skillsPC building, and has earned over fifty merit badges during his scouting&nbsp;</span><span>career</span><span>photography. He has applied Driven by his love passion for helping support others, learning new things, and his global mindset, Daniel is interested in the real world by teaching success of himself how to cook a variety of different foods in the kitchenand his coworkers, friends, building his own computer and many other morestudents. This passion has led Daniel to continue to take&nbsp;</span><span>opportunities</span>&nbsp;<span>and hopes University Innovation Fellows will help him further his learning in order to make an impact on the community.</span>&nbsp;
