Her focuses include healthcare disparities, underserved, minority populations, increasing diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusivity. JeDawn is from Stockbridge, Ga and she attended Clayton State University (CSU) in Morrow, GA and received a degree in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Social Work. At CSU she discovered her passion for helping people and decided to become a change agent. She was introduced to Social Work and developed a stronger interest in social sciences. She was a member of The Fashion Society, a diverse group of individuals who expressed the importance of individuality, body positivity, and acceptance.
JeDawn has always been interested in entrepreneurship and has a few small businesses that she will be launching soon. She was involved in modeling and acting from a very young age and is a mentor to a few high school girls in her community. She uses her modeling and acting experience to teach her mentees the importance of self-love and self-confidence. She enjoys helping others attain their dreams and aspirations. At Clayton State University, JeDawn also participated in the Interfaith Leadership Ambassador Program (ILAP) she gained an interest in diverse religious and non-religious interactions. She would like to bridge the gaps of individuals from different backgrounds and build strong communities.
